Custom Model Fine-Tuning

A general model knows a little about everything. A fine-tuned model knows your products, your documents and your tone. We prepare your data, fine-tune open-weight models and prove the improvement with evaluations you can trust.

What we deliver

What's included.

Data preparation

Cleaning, de-duplication, PII removal and labeling to build a high-quality training set.

Efficient fine-tuning

LoRA, QLoRA or full fine-tuning chosen to fit your budget, hardware and goals.

Evaluation you can trust

Task-specific benchmarks and human review comparing the tuned model with the base model.

Deployment-ready weights

Quantized, versioned weights served on your infrastructure, with a model card.

Process

How the engagement runs.

Week 1

Define success

Agree the task, quality metrics and the baseline to beat.

Week 1–3

Prepare data

Collect, clean and label examples; build held-out evaluation sets.

Week 3–5

Train & iterate

Run fine-tuning experiments and compare against the baseline.

Week 6+

Ship & monitor

Deploy the winning model and monitor quality in production.

Deliverables

What you keep at the end.

  • Curated training and evaluation datasets
  • Fine-tuned model weights you own
  • Evaluation report against the base model
  • Model card and retraining playbook

FAQ

Common questions.

More answers on our FAQ page.

How much data do we need?

For many tasks a few thousand good examples are enough. We assess your data in week one and tell you if more is needed.

Is fine-tuning always the answer?

No. Sometimes better retrieval or prompting solves the problem more cheaply. We will tell you when that is the case.

Who owns the fine-tuned model?

You do. Weights, data and code stay in your environment.
